1 Alpha Portland Cement Company Blueprint: Concrete Curb and Gutter
Easton PA Alpha Portland Cement Company 1920 Blueprint Very Good Blueprint
These blueprints were part of a drive by the Alpha Cement Co. to promote the use of cement and concrete in architecture and building. Most are for rural and farm construction, and seem to have been mailed by subscription or for free to architects and designers. Condition is Very Good, with slight wear and creasing, primarily to the edges. Most have a red ink stamp or typewritten notation on the margin or reverse indicating the date it was received in the architect's office. Some creasing to edges. Small closed tear to bottom margin (appx. 1/4 inch). Size of paper is approximately 11 3/4 by 17 3/4 inches. Please see images, and ask for more if needed. The images are scans, not photographs, and some of the margins did not fit in the image so I can take a picture if needed. If you follow the images into the Old Book Art Gallery, you will find access to much larger images for a look at the details. This link will take you right to the gallery folder where these (and previously sold images) may be viewed: http://tinyurl.com/AlphaCement

11 B. H. Warren Plate 10 Solitary Sandpiper - single original antique chromolithographed print from "Report on the birds of Pennsylvania
Harrisburg E. K.Meyers 1899 Original Unbound Very Good Unbound
Plate 010 Solitary Sandpiper - Totanus solitarius - 1. Male ; 2. Female. - A very nice original antique chromolithographed print, after the original Audubon plate. Bright colors and nice detail. These were taken from a very broken book which was not worth restoring. Generally, I discourage taking plates from a book and prefer to preserve the intact work, but when it is already so damaged there is often little other choice. Higher detailed scans available on request. Condition: Prints themselves generally free from flaws and marks. Any exceptions will be noted. Small smudge/stain to top edge. Edges with some creases, small tears and wear. Very suitable for framing as edge flaws can usually be covered up by matting. Paper with minor aging and general light smudging overall to this set, but color still clear and attractive. Please see image and ask for more if needed.

26 B. H. Warren Plate 23 Night-Hawk - Whip-Poor-Will - single original antique chromolithographed print from "Report on the birds of Pennsylvania
Harrisburg E. K.Meyers 1912 Original Unbound Very Good Unbound
Plate 023 Night-Hawk - Whip-Poor-Will - Chordeiles virginianus - Antrostomus vociferus - Males. - A very nice original antique chromolithographed print, after the original Audubon plate. Bright colors and nice detail. These were printed on a smaller scale (appx. 6" x 9 3/8") than the Audubon and are thus not considered original Audubons despite the faithfulness of the lithography, but are very nice nonetheless. Edges with some creases, small tears and wear. Very suitable for framing as edge flaws can usually be covered up by matting. Paper with minor aging and general light smudging overall to this set, but color still clear and attractive. Please see image and ask for more if needed.
Price: 40.00 USD
